With remote learning becoming the 'new norm' for schools in response to the recent virus pandemic, the adoption of remote learning differs from school to school. This is influenced largely by the current adoption of technology already taking place within the school's learning environment, together with the capacity and confidence of its teaching staff.

Through RTG's project work being completed in schools, assisting with staff training and setting up of remote learning environments, we have seen many different approaches being taken, with some showing huge success in a school's uptake and adoption of synchronous and asynchronous student learning.

In a recent LinkedIn article, two of RTG's IT Managers speak of their experience with leading and supporting their school's with digital transformational change in response to remote learning in the hope that readers can relate to the trepidation they felt, and learn from their recommendations.

We recommend this article for anybody keen to get a better understanding of what rapid remote learning might mean for them.
